Manganese Steel

Manganese steel blow bars are low cost, wear well and are ideally suited to high impact applications as they are tolerant of tramp metal in the feed. With differing gradients of strength we can ensure long lasting, hard wearing impact crusher parts, every time.

Chrome White Iron

QMS also stock and supply high chrome white iron blow bars as an alternative to manganese steel. High chrome is the ideal choice for highly abrasive applications where there is no oversize high impact rock or recycling debris in the feed. QMS chrome white iron wear parts offer good resistance to abrasion. However, chrome white iron impactor parts are not suitable where tramp metal or large objects are included in the feed material.

Martensitic Steel

If your feed material varies in size and substance, then martensitic steel wear parts are better suited. Martensitic steel is a good all rounder, delivering good impact resistance against all but the hardest rocks, coupled with a high resistance to abrasive gouging.
